RESPONSIBILITIES
• Review and recommend ideas or procedures to help improve jobsite safety, productivity, etc.

• Understand the method of construction utilized for each project. If you don’t fully understand, ask questions.
• Review and understand your scope of work and job budget (We will help you with this).

Heavy Equipment Operator

RESPONSIBILITIES
• Safely and proficiently operate and maintain various pieces of construction equipment. Some examples would be, but are not limited to, a rubber-tire loader, excavator, rubber-tire backhoe, auger bore machines, pilot tube micro-tunneler, caisson drill, etc. Always ensure that you have been properly trained on the equipment and understand its’ operation BEFORE you operate.
• Perform preventative maintenance on all equipment operated. Always perform pre-operation check of equipment before starting and operating. Completely grease and clean out cab of assigned equipment daily. Keep windows of assigned equipment clean. Fuel equipment daily, at end of shift or as required. Fill out hour and maintenance reports. Perform small repairs and report major repairs and damage of equipment to management. Report any damage to equipment, per company policy. Check for proper track tension and tire pressures on assigned equipment. Assist others on the crew.
KNOWLEDGE
• Abilities to operate many pieces of equipment from Track hoes to Loaders from the size of 200 and above.

Heavy Equipment Mechanic

RESPONSIBILITIES
• Maintenance and Repair of all types of construction equipment and trucks on-site and in the shop
• Troubleshooting malfunctions or problems with the equipment. Identify the problem and make decisions on how to repair equipment
• Research how to repair or improve a piece of equipment, if required.
• Maintain shop yard and work area. Help keep all working areas neat, organized, and safe

Laborer

Laborers work as part of a team to accomplish various tasks related to underground construction. They must work safely around heavy machinery and various tools of the trade. Assigned tasks will vary depending on the type and current phase of the job. Laborers are expected to learn each process through participating and asking questions.

Construction Estimator

RESPONSIBILITIES
The Construction Estimator will work under the direction of the company’s Operations Manager and is responsible to create accurate and competitive bids. The Construction Estimator will efficiently and effectively gather all the documents needed to give the most cost-efficient estimate for jobs. Those include specifications, plans, technical drawings, subcontractor quotes and material costs. The Estimator will also keep up with market trends to ensure bids are reasonable and competitive. After projects are complete, the construction estimator will work with Project Mangers to evaluate the accuracy of bids and track results.

• Prepares and estimates budget costs for jobs by studying plans, specifications, and site conditions.

The Safety & Operations Training Coordinator will work under the direction of the company’s Operations Manager and will monitor the workplace to promote and ensure companywide compliance with applicable safety regulations. The Safety & Operations Training Coordinator will develop, coordinate, and implement occupational health policies and procedures to ensure effective safety operations in the organization. Additionally, this role will maintain an accurate schedule of projects and list applicable training required for employee safety and knowledge. This person will support the company operations by conducting or facilitating the appropriate training. The Safety & Operations Training Coordinator will also develop and maintain tracking system for employee training and certifications.
