Beginning in 1974, Claude and Barbara Nix would build their company on the principles of “you’re only as good as you word,” and “do it right the first time.”

Claude established the Nix reputation from the seat of his backhoe while Barbara managed the business operations, both endeavors forming loyal relationships that continue to this day.

Proven a formidable team, they set themselves apart just as Nix Construction does today–by taking on the most challenging projects, often ones deemed impossible by other contractors. Their values served as the heart and soul of Nix Construction and continue to shape the business through the dedication of a new generation committed to the Nix promise of quality.
